ILASS 2022

About
ILASS Europe originated in an initiative of the late Paul Eisenklam, who proposed the establishment of the Institute in 1982 and saw its formation with the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) at UMIST 1983. The Institute’s objectives have remained unchanged since that time:
“… to promote the science and applications of liquid atomization and spray systems by means of sponsorship of annual scientific meetings, promotion and preparation of technical papers, and promotion of membership in ILASS Europe among interested and qualified persons…”
Since then, the European community interested in the broad branch of science that deals with multi-phase disperse flows has convened annually at ILASS conferences. At these meetings, to the mutual benefit of both the scientific and industrial communities, new ideas, information and technical advances in liquid atomization and spray systems are exchanged and shared.
This year, between Sept. 6th-8th, the 2022 ILASS Europe conference will be held virtually, due to COVID-19.
High-quality research contributions, describing original unpublished results of conceptual, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Atomization and Sprays Systems, are cordially invited for presentation at the conference. A special session will be devoted to emerging technologies in droplet and spray formation.
